Privacy Policy
- We store your dog's profile and chat history to make the app work
- We do not sell your data to third parties — ever
- You can request deletion anytime by emailing us
- Voice conversations are processed via OpenAI and not permanently stored by us
1. What We Collect
When you use FetchCoach, we collect the following information:

We do not require an email address or password to use FetchCoach.
2. How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored on secure servers using Neon (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. Dog photos are stored on Cloudflare R2 object storage.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our database.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Generate personalized training advice through our AI coaches
- Maintain your conversation history within the app
- Restore your dog profile when you return via your Dog ID
- Improve the product based on usage patterns
We do not use your data to train AI models. Your conversations are sent to OpenAI to generate responses, subject to OpenAI's privacy policy.
4. No Selling of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We may share anonymized, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., "X% of users have Labrador Retrievers") that cannot be traced back to you.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
FetchCoach uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to:
- Remember your session ID so you don't have to re-enter your Dog ID on each visit
- Store your speaker/TTS preferences (on/off)
- Track a random visitor ID for anonymous analytics
There are no advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies on FetchCoach.
6. Subscription & Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. FetchCoach does not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment information: stripe.com/privacy.
7. Data Retention
We retain your dog profile and chat history as long as your session exists in our system. If you stop using the app, your data is retained until you request deletion.
8. Requesting Data Deletion
To delete your data, email us at fetchcoach@polsia.app with your Dog ID (found in Settings → Profile). We will delete your profile, chat history, and any associated data within 14 days.
9. Children's Privacy
FetchCoach is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of FetchCoach after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
